It’s hilarious. Give it a watch. See how many terms you are aware. I was surprised that I didn’t know what one or two or two Christianese terms meant. Maybe I’m not that good of a Christian after all… bummer…

If you speak Christianese then you definitely grew up in the church. If you didn’t, you think those of us who did might be super weird.

This video made me think though. I’m not sure about this whole Christian sub-culture thing. Seems as if we are more comfortable pulling away from society and creating our own separate one. I’m not 100% sure that’s what Jesus told us to do… Think about it Christianese speakers, were we commissioned only to get people into our building, to train them to speak our language and to assimilate?
Or
Did Jesus say something about going to where the people are, and meeting them more on their terms and spending time with them? After that didn’t He say something about telling them about all the cool stuff He did for us…
